Straightforward C-6 files often move in a few weeks once documents, engineer attachment, bank papers and biometrics are complete. Incomplete cards and PEC queries add time, and nobody outside PEC can honestly guarantee a calendar day.

No — constructor C-6 still needs the published minimum of one registered engineer and 5 professional credit points. We will not file a story the portal will reject.

Renew the personal engineer card first, then confirm it is still attached on the firm. A firm renewal filed with an expired attached card is how people lose weeks.

Start well before the licence year closes — the last week is when everyone else files too. Straightforward renewals often clear in two to six weeks after biometrics and payment.

No — only a real, available engineer with a valid PEC card. Fake attachment is how licences get cancelled.

Yes — the personal card must be current before it can be attached to the firm. Attachment with an expired card is refused on the portal.

C-6 is the entry constructor category, with a published limit of PKR 25 million per project; C-A has no published upper limit and needs far more professional credit points and senior engineers. The full ladder, fees and engineer rules are on our categories page and on pec.org.pk.

Only if the published experience, credit points, engineers and net worth for C-A are actually there. Under PEC’s upgrade fee table a jump of three or more steps costs your current fee plus three times the destination fee: C-6 to C-A is PKR 1,215,000.

NTN first — the same name must sit on the NTN, the bank title and the PEC application. For most new constructor files we get the NTN (and the bank title) straight before the PEC upload; a name mismatch is the most common reason a first file stalls.

No — you pay the council challan in the firm’s name; our professional fee is separate and is not published. We generate or guide the challan so the amount matches the category, and we confirm the live figure on the portal.
